| What do u think of the global warming at the moment.
wut can be improved. are u with or against greenpeace.
do u support bush or not ? (oil n stuff)
i dont support bush and i think this could be improved a lot with the new hydrogen car although it is in development.
Your thoughts pls. | |

| i dont know:S:S
i just think... there are cars who has water as fuel so why dont they make all engines like that or something else some guy had an idea and made a car who drives on wood:P
make all cars like that
that would be the selution for global warming

| Eeuhm thats called Hydrogen cars -_-
they run on hydrogen not water .. water splits in hydrogon and oxygen and in the engine they explode the hydrogen and by doing that it connects again with the exygen and the outcome is water ^^
so this is also a neverending feulresource..

| but my point was that if you do that the global warming will be much lower | |

| Yes .. but it also stops the oil problems .. and if they make turbines with this system then there would also be no need for nuclear plants.. | |

| lol it would lower cardom emition form car engines but the amount os burning cars and explosions from all the rocket fuel made would be over the top.... I am right about the hydrogen and oxygen making explosions aren't i | |

| yes but the point is they wont have oxygen with it .. only hydrogen .. and if that explodes... after the explosion ift goes away in the exhaust when it mangles again with the oxygen wich becomes water .. | |

but if they used oxygen with the hydrogen in the engine it would explode like a hydrogen bomb right???..so whats stopping oxygen getting inside the engine and blowing up

| you mean if there are tanks of hydrogen and tanks of oxygen instead of petrol tanks ..?
yeah, you would probably then get explosions... BUT.. this isn't how hydrogen cars work..
you have a tank of water (ideally, pure, distilled water), which then goes through a microfilter to seperate the large hydrogen atoms from the smaller oxygen atoms (probably the other way around - i forget)..
these hydrogen and oxygen atoms then combine back together to form water, and the energy given off during this reaction is what powers the car ..
this is how i understand it to work, but ill be only too happy to stand corrected if ive made mistakes somewhere
